Emergency Water Conservation Measures
The District’s listed above continue to operate under safe conditions. Unlike many water systems in the Central Texas area, there is no boil water notice currently in effect.
However, due to high water levels and associated turbidity in Lake Austin from recent continuous heavy rains, the water treatment plant capacity for the area has been significantly reduced.  Accordingly, residents of the area are now asked to follow the restrictions listed below until further notice.
Customers are required to eliminate non-essential water uses during an emergency. This includes, but is not limited to the following measures:
a. There should be no irrigation of landscaped areas. This includes hand watering.
b. No use of outdoor water to wash cars or to fill fountains or pools.
c. Steps should be taken to shorten indoor showers and reduce water used in the household.
Additional measures may be added as needed.
The District will provide updates as they become available.
Updates will be posted to the District section of the Crossroads Utility Website. That site is Crossroadsus.com.
Customers who have additional questions should contact customer service at (512) 246-1400 or email customerservice@crossroadsus.com.
